How it works

Four steps from counter to cash

The same four steps every time, in the same order. Nothing hidden between them.

  1. Collateral

Bring an item of value — jewelry, a watch, electronics, tools, an instrument — and a pawnbroker reviews it in front of you.

  2. Valid ID

Present a state or federal photo ID: driver licence, state ID card or passport. Florida requires it for every pawn transaction.

  3. Get cash

Agree the loan value, sign and fingerprint the contract, and leave with cash the same visit.

  4. Get it back

Within 30 days, repay the principal plus agreed interest and collect your item. Short on time? Pay the interest to extend.

Categories

What walks through our door

We lend against and buy the categories that hold value in South Florida. If yours is not listed, call — the answer is usually yes.

Gold & silver jewelry

Chains, rings, bracelets and scrap, weighed on certified scales and tested for karat in front of you.

Diamonds & signed pieces

Certified stones and designer jewelry evaluated on cut, condition and secondary demand — not just metal weight.

Luxury watches

Rolex, Omega, TAG Heuer, Breitling and more. Reference confirmed, originality checked, papers valued.

Electronics

Laptops, phones, cameras, consoles and audio gear. Signed out of previous accounts, accessories included.

Power tools

Contractor kits and cordless platforms. Batteries and chargers are half the value — bring them.

Instruments

Guitars, basses, keyboards, amps and drums, played and checked before we quote.

Collectibles

Memorabilia, coins, bullion and unusual pieces. Bring what documents them.

Outdoor & sporting

Seasonal outdoor and sporting equipment. Regulated items are handled in store, under licence, in person.

A note on our specialty counter

Part of what we handle is regulated, and we deal with it the way the law requires: in person, at the counter, with identification and the paperwork the transaction demands. It is not sold or arranged online, and it is not what this site is here to advertise.

If you have a question about a specific regulated item, call the shop or come in. Everything else on this page — jewelry, watches, electronics, tools, instruments, collectibles — is a normal walk-in conversation.

Outdoor & sporting equipment Call the shop

Cannot bring it in? We come to you.

Our house-call service exists for estates, collections and full tool inventories — the things that are hard to move, and most likely to be damaged when moved. For larger engagements we visit you in Hollywood, Davie, Pembroke Pines, Cooper City and Miramar, evaluate in place, and nothing leaves the house until you decide.

How house calls work

Cash today, or a number worth thinking about

Walk in during shop hours with photo ID and the item. If you would rather start with a description, the form takes two minutes and reaches the counter directly.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you run a credit check for a pawn loan?

No. A pawn loan is secured by the item you leave as collateral, so there is no credit pull and nothing is reported to the credit bureaus either way. Approval depends on the collateral and on valid photo identification.

How long do I have to get my item back?

Florida pawn loans run 30 days. You can redeem any time before maturity by repaying the principal plus the agreed interest. If you need longer, you can pay the interest due to extend rather than losing the item.

What identification do I need?

A valid state or federal photo ID — driver licence, state identification card or passport. Florida law requires it for every pawn transaction, and the contract is signed and fingerprinted at the counter.

How much will I get for my item?

It depends on what the item would reliably resell for, not on its original retail price. Condition, authenticity, completeness and current demand all move the number, and we explain which one moved yours before you decide.

Can I sell instead of pawning?

Yes, and it is often the better option if you do not want the item back. Ask for both numbers in the same visit — it is the same evaluation either way, and the comparison usually settles the decision.

Do you buy gold that is broken or out of style?

Yes. Scrap gold is priced on weighed metal content and tested karat. Wearable and signed pieces may be worth more than their metal, so they are priced differently — ask which category your piece falls into.

Where are you, and do I need an appointment?

We are at 6500 Stirling Rd, Suite 2, Hollywood, FL 33024, on the Davie line. Walk-ins are welcome during shop hours. Call ahead for collections, estates or anything bulky so we can plan the visit.
