Used tools are the best value in the shop for anyone doing real work: a tested drill or saw at half of retail does the same job as a new one. We check that it runs, that the chuck or blade mount is sound, and we tell you whether a battery is included.
Kits come and go quickly. If you need a specific platform — because your other tools share batteries — say so, since buying into the wrong platform costs more than the tool.
Ask about condition and any missing pieces before you pay. A bare tool is priced as a bare tool, and we would rather you knew that at the counter than in the driveway.
Call during shop hours or come in with the item. Either way you get a number at the counter, in front of you, with the reasoning attached to it.
